Main Street Home Loans, LLC was started in July 2005 in response to the rapidly growing local Atlanta real estate market.  Brian Krebs and James Doran had a vision to create a Home Loan company that would build a solid referral based business with an unwavering commitment to Excellence and Integrity.For years, the Home Loan industry had been a place where customers would be taken advantage of, the opportunity to obtain a large portion of this market was here.   With only personal capital invested, Main Street Home Loans began, and has steadily grown to an 45 employee, multi-state, retail and wholesale Home Loan Mortgage Banker.

The Founders of Main Street Home Loans have clearly demonstrated their prowess as skillful businessmen in previous independent ventures that were highly successful. The wisdom of each principal to properly plan for future changes in the Home Loan industry during turbulent times has provided the company with the ability to remain profitable while maintaining slow and steady growth. A successful business is more than just time and money to the principals of Main Street Home Loans. It is about developing a plan, adapting that plan to the current environment, and building a long term reputation that is impeccable. Main Street Home Loans has succeeded in all of these. 

Mortgage Banker:
Main Street Home Loans is an Independent Mortgage Banker with direct endorsement authority from HUD, and is currently licensed in numerous states in the Southeast.  Mortgage bankers represent the entrepreneurial spirit of lending professionals who are not affiliated with a depository institution such as a bank or credit union. Mortgage Bankers operate retail lending operations utilizing warehouse lines as their interim funding source while delivering loans to secondary marketing channels for purchase.

Main Street Home Loans manages and controls all the pieces of a Home Loan’s life cycle with the exception of servicing. Origination, processing, underwriting, closing, funding, post closing, and sale of loan to the end investor are all under the direct control of Main Street Home Loans. By taking on this considerable risk and expense associated with packaging and selling “whole” loans, Main Street Home Loans gains total control over the loan cycle.  This control differentiates Main Street Home Loans from their competition.
